SLSO trying to help a child with brain tumor

Namphong Subba, 13 months from Hee Kyangbari (West Sikkim) is bed ridden because of brain tumor. The family of the sick child belongs to BPL category and is in dire need of financial help. Recently the father of the sick child, Mr. Gyanu Hang Subba met the members of Subha Laxmi Social Organization (SLSO) who are trying to help this family in their distress.

President of SLSO, Mrs. Lalita Lama informed that, this child is in a pathetic condition and needs further, however the family of this child cannot afford the treatment.

The organization is trying to help the family through the schemes of the State Government and the child has been awarded with Rs.50, 000 through Chief Ministers’ quota, the file is due for final approval.

Namphong has been referred to Durgapur hospital by the STNM doctor as the case is critical. It has been informed that as soon as possible we shall be taking this child to Durgapur for treatment. The association has been collecting donation for the treatment of the child. The family will be escorted by the President SLSO and a member.
