The department of Power and Energy, Government of Sikkim has appointed eight disable people of Work Charged and Muster Roll Employees Association on September 22, 2011, permanently.

Chief Minister Pawan Chamling had recommended the members of the association for the above post on the occasion of poverty free day. The association of All Sikkim Government Work Charged and Mustor Roll Employees Association have given its full credit to Secretary of Power Department as he had recommended the insurance for mustor roll employees, amounting to Rs. one lakhs each person. Adding more the press release informs that all departments across state are trying to generate vacancy for adhoc and mustor roll employees as well.
