The Indian Army evacuated a pregnant lady along with 25 people from Chungthang including 19 NDRF members and were safely landed in Gangtok, said Army spokesperson Ravi Patil in a press conference held here at Capital.

He informed that 21 people were evacuated from Dzongu among them 9 were civilian and all people were dropped in Gangtok. The Army today dropped 2300 kg ration in North District, 500 kg in Chungthang, 600 kg in Lachung, 285 kg in Thangu and 300 kg in Dzongu. Army also dropped a large generator in lachung along
with water pipe and relief materials, he added
