State Bank of Sikkim gets a new branch at Kanchanjunga Complex

Gangtok, 24th Feb: The new branch of State Bank of Sikkim (SBS) was inaugurated at the Kanchanjunga Shopping Complex, Gangtok by HRDD minister N.K. Pradhan on Friday. On this occasion Minister UD & HD D.B. Thapa, Chairman, SBS Laxuman Lepcha, MLA Gangtok Dorjee Namgyal Bhutia & host of other dignitaries were also present.
The Bank established on 19th September 1968 has a total of 29 branches throughout the state.
Mr. Pradhan said in his inaugural address that the need for a branch at Kanchanjunga Shooping Comples was being felt for a long time to cater to the need of small businessmen of Lall Market area. He said that since its inception SBS has immense constribution towards the development of the state hence this bank should be thought not only as a bank but a partner in the development of the state. He also encouraged people to open account in this bank.

STATE BANK OF SIKKIM IS NOT PARTICIPATE AT CLEARING . SO IT IS NOT FEAR.THAT IS WRONG . SO BANK IS BANK . STATE BANK OF SIKKIM PARTICIPATE IN CLEARING . SO OUR REQUEST BECAUSE PAYMENTS FAST IN THROUGH BANK SYSTEM . PART OF GROWTH IN BANK .THAT IS OUR SUGGESTION .
