Giving his clarification on this matter, the Town Hall’s Cultural official, Mitendra Chettri said that 2 persons had approached regarding Subba’s meet, but the organization could not carry forward their application since they had arrived after office hours. Another reason for the application not being accepted was the absence of the party’s letter head, he added. Chettri further notified, that for any political meets, the concerned should submit 2 applications, 1 in the Town Hall’s office and another to the Police Department. Mentioning the process of booking of the hall, Chettri informed that after the application is submitted and enquired, it is then forwarded to the Sub Divisional officer for approval.
