The Bermiok out post police in west Sikkim has arrested four youths with illicit drugs.

The police patrolling team comprising of the ASI KB Gurung, Nayak Dawa Zangpo Bhutia, constable Karma Dorjee Bhutia when on raid at a parked maruti van bearing no SK-03J412 near Thapa Niwas recovered 30660 Spasmo Proxyvon and 440 recodex syrups. ASI Gurung said that they were informed by a reliable source beforehand.

The accused has been identified as Sumitra Gurung, Deepak Rai, Suju Rai and Rajen Pradhan among which two of them are female. It is also learnt that the illicit drugs were brought from Siliguri.

The accused are sent to the Temi police station and a case under SADA 2006 has been filed which is under investigation said the ASI.
