A team of five members was unanimously given the charge as State Level Panchayat Election Publicity Committee during the meeting of legislators held at Samman Bhawan on 24 September 2012.

Sikkim Democratic Party,Vice President (North Sikkim), Hissey Lachungpa; Vice President(South Sikkim), GM Gurung; Vice President-cum-Legal Advisor, RB Subba and SK Pradhan were among the five member team who were delegated the authority for publicising the Panchayat Election-2012 by the SDF Party President, Pawan Chamling informs a party release. The committee of five members is incharged with assisting the MLAs and SDF Panchayat Election Committee for selection of candidates, advising the concerned and other publicity related matters concludes release.
