United Sikkim draws Air India 3-3

The match between United Sikkim and Air India was really a tough fight on Tuesday here in Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex.

The first goal was scored by Air India’s Eliza Junior in the 45th minute. The fans of Air India erupted in joy. This gave a big hope that Air India may win. Yet, their happiness only last a minute. That was because, United Sikkim’s boy Nurudeen Salau netted his first goal in the 46th minute. Thus United Sikkim-Air India comes to 1-1.

Salau doubled his scored in the 73rd minute, where he struck the ball into Air India’s net. That was United Sikkim’s second goal. By this, United Sikkim led the play. But another goal entered the net of United Sikkim, when Air India’s player Gagandeep Singh netted it in the 89th minute. This equalized the scored at 2-2.

In the 90th minute, Captain Anwar Ali scored the third goal for United Sikkim. This was in the extra time. It was the moment that fans of the United Sikkim screamed in joy and burst out in happiness. On the other, Air India’s fans stood up surprisingly and fear of losing the game. Sikkim fans erupted jubilantly in a continuous mood.

However, there was a fearful penalty kick in the last minute. The referee had given Ezeh Henry fouled inside the D-box. Elijah Junior scored the goal in his kicked. This goal happened in the 94th minute. It raised Air India’s tally to 3.
