New Delhi, December 27, 2012:
The 23-year-old gang-rape victim, who has been fighting for her life in a Delhi hospital has been flown to Singapore for medical treatment where she will be shifted to St Elizabeth hospital. Her parents are accompanying her.
Sources say that an organ transplant will be arranged for her in Singapore. A large parts of her small intestine were removed as a result of the injuries from the monstrous attack she endured.
The girl has been moved in an air ambulance in the care of Dr Naresh Trehan and Dr Yatin Mehta of the super-specialty Medanta Hospital located near Delhi in Gurgaon.
