Sangam Club has entered into the finals of the ongoing 3rd Open Losoong Football Tournament 2012 by defeating Parkha Football Club 8-2 goals in the first semi-final of the tournament played on December 22 here at Pachey School playground .

After the match, Member of All Sikkim Democratic Labour Front, Divya Kala Sharma, the chief guest urged the players to take sports as their career and follow in the footsteps of Bhaichung Bhutia and Nirmal Chettri, who have not only shaped their future but also brought laurels to the State. Altogether 30 teams took part in the tourney.

The final match is slated on December 26. The winning team would be given cash prize of Rs 30,000 along with winner’s trophy and the runners- up team with Rs 20,000 cash award and a runners-up trophy.
