Gangtok 27th January:

Munna Rai, resident of Burtuk was arrested on 26th January form Hospital Dara. Police have recovered 327 Spasmo proxyvon capsules along with 20 tablets of N-10. A case has been filed under section Sikkim anti drugs act-2006 at sadar police station.

Gangtok 27th January:

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Rawat, resident of Chandmari, was arrested on 26th of January for charge of fraud and cheating. The police source informed that Mr. Rawat used to use renowned brands labels to sell his phenyl in the market. During the search conducted by Sadar Police station the police recovered 715 different labels along with 10 liters of chemical from his residence.

A case has been filed at Sadar PS under section 402/482 of India Penal Code.

SOMBARIA, January 27:

An unidentified person fell down from a cliff at Daramdin and died on the spot on 26th January as per the FIR lodged by Mrs. Kamala Kumari Kalikotay, Panchayat of the area. As per the police, the unidentified body is strongly suspected to be of Mr. Purna Bahadur Sarki, resident of Jheppee Lodoma, Darjeeling district who had come to Daramdin on 26th of January. Furthermore the body has been preserved for the next 72 hours after postmortem and a case has been registered under section 174 CRPC and is still under investigation.
