Dalai Lama reaches Salugara, Siliguri

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama said that meditation could play a very positive role for the youth to prevent them from straying from the path of peace, and to live a life of non-violence and brotherhood while addressing a gathering of his followers at Salugara, Siliguti, West Bengal on 23rd December.

H H reached Salugara Monastery in the morning, after his visit to Sikkim. The Dalai Lama is scheduled to address religious gatherings till on Friday morning and will leave for Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh in the afternoon, officials said. General secretary of Himalayan Boudhya Sanskriti Samiti, Saman Lendun Lama said thousands of Buddhists from different parts of the country have come to pay respect to the spiritual leader.
