Darjeeling, May 8, 2012:

The Gorkhaland Task force coordinator R Moktan and the Bharitya Gorkha Parisangh general secretary Suk Man Moktan today presented the documentation for the formation of separate state Gorkhaland and the history of the Gorkhas, to the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh Prem Kumar Dhumal. Moktan informed the chief minister about the stand of the BJP, and Darjeeling BJP MP Jaswant Singh on the formation of Gorkhaland.

The chief minister highly accepting the issues of the Gorkhas said that the contribution of the Gorkhas even in Himachal Pradesh has been enormous. He has assured to help the genuine cause in any means.

Likewise the team also met with the vice-president of the All India Gorkha Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association VS Thapa and under secretary Rajen Thapa.
