Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling and his wife Maya Chamling have expressed their profound grief over the sudden demise of A.K. Giri, Principal Chief Engineer-cum-Secretary, Energy and Power Department, Government of Sikkim.

In his message, they have mentioned that late Shri A.K.Giri was known as a simple, soft spoken and hard working person of high moral integrity. During his tenure as head of the Energy and Power Department, he showed his ability as a capable administrator and a good human being.
